Meet the CEO

Triple Crown Insurance Services CEO, Todd Cady, was born and raised in San Diego, California. Following a very successful youth baseball career, Todd went on to play baseball at Arizona State University on a full scholarship, where he lettered three years of varsity baseball as a scholar. Shortly after graduating and obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree from ASU, Todd was drafted by the Florida Marlins in 1994. Following a few years of successful professional baseball, his career was abruptly ended due to injury. However, Todd has since been elected to Arizona State’s Athletic Hall of Fame.

Although his career ending injury could have brought an end to his lifelong dream, it wasn’t baseball that was his dream. It was simply to be successful and win at whatever he did. With that, he took his degree, put it to use and quickly entered the insurance field where he had friends and family in the business. He saw the success they were having and the relationships that came along with that success, and said to himself, “This is what I want to be doing.” He never looked back.

After seven years working under the mentorship of a very successful local agency, Todd started Triple Crown Insurance Services in 2006. His commitment to his employees and his clientele mirror his lifelong values of teamwork and dedication that ran deep throughout his amateur and professional baseball career.

“It’s really no different now than it was then”, says Todd. “It’s just what I’m doing that’s different now, not how I’m doing it. I try to adhere to all of the same principles with my business as I did on the field. Look out for your teammates, take care of them and they’ll take care of you. As long as I keep doing that, my employees and my clientele are happy, and that’s what it’s all about.”

Although many think Todd’s big stature and intense work ethic can be somewhat intimidating at times, it’s his compassion, quiet understanding and never ending generosity that allow him to succeed both in business and in life. In his spare time, it’s his passion for the highly competitive sport of horse racing, a little golf and staying in great shape that rounds out his busy schedule. However, it’s his constant commitment to his business and his clientele that keeps his competitive fire burning.

“I love to win for my clients. I can’t stand seeing someone else do a better job than us. We’ll go to great lengths to make sure we maintain great communications and a thorough understanding of our clients and their businesses. It’s definitely a competitive space with plenty of challenges, but what isn’t these days? I still love what I do and I don’t ever see myself doing anything different”, says Todd.

Sounds like words spoken from a true winner who does well for himself and everyone around him. Not only is Todd Cady a highly active and well-respected individual within the insurance industry in and around California, it’s his warm and friendly demeanor that have garnered him lifelong friendships all around the country.
